We took Noah to Oklahoma City yesterday to visit the surgeon for the first time since his surgery. The surgeon was very pleased with Noah's progress. In fact, Noah is doing so well that we don't have to go back until May. Originally, the surgeon had said that we would have to be taking him back for checkups every month.
Because of the fact that he was premature and had a heart condition, Noah is very susceptible to sicknesses for the first year or so of his life. The greatest threat is from RSV. The doctors say that if he does contract RSV it will put him back in the NICU, or perhaps even kill him. Because of that, the doctors are urging us to keep Noah at home until RSV season is completely over in May.
Please continue to pray for protection for Noah from RSV or other sicknesses and praise God for the protection he has already provided for our son.
